Mission-driven robotics access for students in our community.

Roboreach Foundation is a Florida-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving Doral families through practical, mentorship-led robotics education with VEX IQ and VEX V5 for students who lack access due to cost or limited school support, and students seeking proven, competitive-level mentorship and structured technical growth.

Program Model

The same office space in Doral hosts both our 4-week summer camp and year-round training hub, creating continuity from beginner fundamentals to competition readiness.

Alvaro Escobar - Founder

VEX IQ Team Lead (2 years), State Champion, focused on programming and CAD design. VEX V5 Team Lead (1 year), currently qualified to States.

VEX IQ Team Lead (3 years); VEX V5 Builder (1 year); 2x State Champion. Focus: mechanical systems, structural integrity, and competitive build strategy.

Daniel Dector

VEX IQ Builder (2 years); VEX V5 Builder (1 year). Focus: drivetrain systems, mechanical reliability, and structural optimization.

VEX IQ Strategy and Driver (3 years), Engineering Notebook lead. VEX V5 Strategy and Driver (1 year). Focus: match strategy, documentation, and performance iteration.

Achievements & Credibility

Mentorship team includes active VEX competitors with multi-season experience across IQ and V5.
Mentors have earned 2x World Championship qualifications in VEX IQ and include State Champions in VEX IQ.
Current season status: mentor-led teams are currently qualified to States, with the States event pending.
Program leadership includes two years of VEX IQ volunteer mentorship for an elementary team.
That elementary team has qualified to States twice: once in a previous season and once in the current season, pending event completion.
Curriculum is structured around CAD training, programming logic, mechanical build standards, competition simulation, and engineering notebook coaching.
